
Summary and suggest
Purpose
The teaching practice aims to provide opportunities for students to gain experience, knowledge, attitudes,skill and to be more confident for the professional in the future educator and also this program useful for stronger cooperation among ASEAN countries. SEA-TEACHER project encourage the pre-service student teachers to practice English skills.
Procedures of practicum
A. Orientation and Briefing
Student-interns are required to attend the General Orientation and Briefing on January 14, 2019.
B. Enrollment and Issuance of ID
International student-interns shall be officially enrolled as TAU students. They shall be taking the elective subject “International Internship.” Upon enrollment, they shall be issued TAU Student Identification Card.
C. Internship Schedule

D. Performance Indicators/ Requirements
The student-intern shall receive a grade for the subject based on his/her performance in the indicators mentioned below:

The student-interns shall be issued a and upon the recommendation of the Internship Coordinator.
Outcomes of practicum
REFLECTION FROM COOPERATING TEACHER: Ms. Supawan was able to discuss the lesson with confidence. She asked the students for question or clarifications. She always roam around the classroom when the students are doing their activities. She always submit her lesson plan before the discussion and make it to the point that it was checked before lesson discussion.
REFLECTION FROM SUPERVISOR:

Students actively participate in the class discussion because of her motivation, that is giving incentives to those who recite/participate.

It is a good thing that she roams around the classroom to supervise her students’ works.

Use the chalkboard eraser in erasing the writing on the board.

Catches the interests of the students using her instructional materials.
REFLECTION FROM MYSELF: The lesson plan is importance for teaching. Before teaching, I consulted the cooperating teacher about the lesson plan every time. I prepare lesson plan, material, and time and classroom management. I think my English language made the students don’t understand some words but when students don’t understand I tried to explain more. Every class I started the lesson by game and reviewed knowledge. I used technology for teaching such as PowerPoint Presentation.
The challenges of practicum
- This is a second time in the Philippines. I worry about my English language
because the Philippines is third country that use the most English and pronunciation is different from Thailand.
- In the room has no microphone, so the teacher must speak louder.
- When I taught the power went off all day. I'm very stressed because I must use TV for teaching .
-Students don't understand some Math symbols but when students don't understand I explain more meaning and give the example.



Overall impression
My impression during this program was very good. This is an extraordinary opportunity for me.
Thank you so much SEAMEO for this project, this project can improve my teaching skill, English skill.
One month for teaching practice has also given so much experience and insight into the practice of being a good teacher and experience in leaning difference culture .


Suggestion for Future Improvement
- I think this project should has same schedule for all universities.
- School for teaching practice, I think it should has convenience store.
